BAL White Paper: Brazil’s new immigration law

On Nov. 21, Brazil will implement a new immigration law that will reshape regulations for foreigners, expatriate workers and refugees. The law reorganizes visa categories and focuses on human rights, putting immigrants on the same footing as Brazilians and integrating all migrants—whether high-skilled workers or refugees—into Brazilian society.
