Nassim is a Partner with BAL and head of the Santa Clara office.

Nassim leverages her wide-ranging background in all aspects of business immigration law, regulation and policy to establish successful immigration programs for startups, midsize companies and large multinational corporations. She has advised clients on temporary work visas, permanent residence and consular nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processing. She offers strategic counsel in developing strategies related to PERM labor certification as well as in I-9 program compliance and improvements.

Nassim understands the complexities of global mobility and talent management in today’s rapidly changing immigration landscape, and she is committed to providing a holistic immigration strategy and counseling to clients.

Prior to joining BAL, Nassim worked at a boutique law firm in Los Angeles, practicing a broader range of immigration, business and criminal law. She volunteered at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office and campaigned for the American Civil Liberties Union, particularly advocating for the human rights and civil liberties of immigrants in the United States.

She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
