Mike is an Associate in the Walnut Creek office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. His practice focuses on meeting the U.S. immigration and visa needs of multinational corporations and their employees, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa issues. He has represented business clients of all sizes within a range of industries, including software, data science, engineering, biotechnology, and energy.
Prior to joining Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, Mike founded and managed his own business immigration law practice in Washington State. He also worked for a boutique immigration firm in Seattle, practicing business immigration law. While studying in law school, he worked full-time as an immigration paralegal in the legal department of a Fortune 100 technology corporation, and he served as an assistant editor on the Seattle University Law Review. Following law school, Mike practiced corporate law at an international firm, handling corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities compliance, and U.S. export control regulatory matters.
