Matt Tomerlin* is a Quality Assurance Manager in the Houston office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. As Quality Assurance Manager, Matt primarily advises internal teams to help develop and maintain quality standards at BAL.
Prior to his current role, Matt acted as a BAL account manager for a number of large multinational clients. He was the primary point of contact for advising and coordinating immigration matters in conjunction with the clients’ global mobility platforms.
Before joining BAL, Matt accumulated over five years of global immigration and consulting experience at a large international immigration consulting firm. Over the course of this period, his roles included: day-to-day case management of inbound and outbound global immigration matters; managing and partnering with an extended group of colleagues across the firm; and eventually providing strategic thought leadership within the firm. Matt also initiated, coordinated, and completed necessary internal projects to help the firm enhance its current service delivery.
