Before Brent joined Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP as Senior Counsel, he was Assistant General Counsel for Immigration at a large multinational consulting firm.  For seven years, Brent helped develop, maintain, revise, and audit various immigration programs for one of the largest-volume H-1B petitioners in the United States.

During his tenure at an international consulting firm, Brent was a trusted advisor to senior management, providing strategic advice and counsel on specific compliance issues relating to nonimmigrant, immigrant, and I-9 programs.  Brent also collaborated with operations teams to create operational efficiencies, enhance productivity, and drive reporting and metrics gathering.

Before entering the corporate world, Brent worked at a large multinational immigration firm, where he managed large and small corporate accounts relating to all aspects of U.S. business immigration.

With his extensive experience as in-house counsel, Brent joined Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP as Senior Counsel, working in the New York office on large corporate accounts.  He partners with business functions and management to understand business needs, craft appropriate solutions, and develop the overall framework necessary to deliver high-quality, timely, and compliant immigration services.
