The French government has put new entry restrictions in place for travelers from the United Kingdom.

Key Points: 

  • Under a change that took effect May 31, all travelers from the U.K. must have a compelling reason to enter the country.
  • All travelers over the age of 11 must present proof of a negative PCR test conducted within 48 hours of departure.
  • All travelers from the U.K. who are granted entry must undergo a seven-day quarantine and conduct another PCR test at the end of the isolation period.
