IMPACT – HIGH
France has lifted restrictions on travel from the United States and Canada, adding the two countries to its list of “green” countries.
Key Points:
Additional Information: France implemented a color-coded system to regulate the reopening of its borders earlier this month. Officials made adjustments to the color-code lists this week. Afghanistan, Maldives and Paraguay were added to the “red” list and Turkey was moved from “red” to “orange.” Please click here for more information on France’s current travel restrictions.
BAL Analysis: The change will significantly ease procedures for travel from Canada and the United States, especially for vaccinated travelers. The response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop, and BAL will provide additional updates as information becomes available.
