UK Work Authorisation – Latest Tier 2 Immigration Rule Changes, Employer Compliance Obligations and the Potential Impact of Brexit
Monday 20 June 2016
16:30 – 17:30 British Summer Time

The next two years will see far-reaching reforms to UK Immigration Rules and the Points-Based System. Please join BAL’s team of UK experts for a presentation on the Tier 2 Immigration Rule changes including:

  • Increased salary thresholds
  • Reorganisation of rules for Intra-Company Transfers
  • Loss of the Skills Transfer and Short Term Staff routes

  • The new Immigration Skills Charge regime

We will also take an annual stock check of Tier 2 sponsor compliance issues, and discuss the potential “Brexit” from the European Union and its consequence for UK employers.

BAL’s hour-long webinar will give HR and Global Mobility advisors a better understanding of:

  • The Home Office response to the MAC Report and Immigration Rule changes for Tier 2 work authorisation announced 18 March 2016
  • How to structure for increased salary levels, the extension of the Immigration Health Surcharge in Autumn 2016, and the new Immigration Skills Charge regime which begins April 2017
  • How the Brexit referendum on 23 June 2016 could impact EEA nationals and their families working in the UK and mainland Europe
  • Employers’ sponsor duties and compliance with the latest on the Right to Work legislation
