Sophia manages GlobalChek® Plus, BAL’s proprietary global immigration assessment software solution. GlobalChek® Plus enables multinational companies to optimize global programs, allowing them to automate best practices for assessment and improve global compliance. Sophia leads a team of professionals, who work with a network of global attorneys to maintain and continuously update the system’s robust U.S. and global immigration information. With GlobalChek® Plus and its proprietary technology, Sophia guides clients on how best to track international business travel and create a one-stop-shop for immigration—from case assessment to case initiation.

Previously, Sophia served as Senior Associate with Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP where she counseled companies on a broad range of U.S. immigration law, with a focus on employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions.
