Rekha is a Senior Immigration Manager in the London office of Berry Appleman & Leiden, where she oversees the UK in-bound team. She advises companies on a range of immigration matters, from sponsor licences and work permission, to British citizenship. Rekha provides strategic direction to help clients manage a migrant workforce through changes in law and policy, and to improve their immigration compliance programmes. Rekha has advised companies on international business travellers, managing mergers and acquisitions and large international moves to meet time-bound projects. She provides training to HR professionals on areas of immigration compliance, liaises closely with UK Visas and Immigration on complex matters and ensures that clients are aware of the impact of Government changes.
Prior to joining BAL, Rekha worked in a leading immigration law firm in London as a Managing Associate Solicitor, advising global and small to medium sized companies across a range of industries. Rekha also worked in HR in the financial industry whilst in Singapore, coordinating UK and Asia Immigration work with vendors. Rekha understands the relocation process and challenges associated with a mobile workforce.
