“Immigration law is compelling to me because it’s both intellectually challenging and emotionally fulfilling. I love that each day brings a new challenge that needs a creative solution, and I enjoy bringing clarity to the complexity of U.S. immigration law. Even more fulfilling are the relationships I have the opportunity to foster with our clients, their employees, as well as BAL’s talented team, and the impact I see my work have on their work and lives.”

Ruth is a Partner and head of BAL's Houston office. Ruth focuses her practice on corporate immigration matters related to temporary work visas, employment-based immigration, naturalization and consular processing. She represents multinational corporations in a variety of industries, including energy, technology and engineering. Ruth has extensive experience in developing strategies related to PERM labor certification.
