Brigitte is a Partner in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. She serves a wide range of Fortune 500 and smaller corporations in all aspects of U.S. corporate immigration, including due diligence considerations for mergers and acquisitions affecting large numbers of foreign national employees. Brigitte has vast experience with clients across diverse industries, such as the import/export of Hispanic consumer goods, aviation, technology, engineering, oil and gas services, consumer goods, and transportation. Her specialties include nonimmigrant visas, consular affairs, immigration support for corporate restructuring, U.S. permanent residence, including cases requiring labor certifications/PERM, aliens of extraordinary ability, outstanding researchers and multinational managers and executives. Additionally, Brigitte counsels companies operating on a global scale with the implementation of successful mobility programs. She has extensive leadership capabilities, having previously led an immigration group at a large global immigration law firm for over a decade. Brigitte has a native understanding of Hispanic culture and the Latin American market, and speaks Spanish and English.
