June 10-13, 2018
The Council for Global Immigration’s 2018 Symposium provides immigration professionals an opportunity to stay up-to-date and keep their organization’s compliant with changes in immigration legislation and policy. Join BAL in Arlington, VA., at the Crystal Gateway Marriot June 10 to 13 to take part in the symposium.
During the event, BAL Partner Lynden Melmed and BAL Senior Counsel Jeff Gorsky will participate in a panel entitled “Back on Track – Former Government Officials Lift the Veil On How to Fix Broken Cases.”
Before joining BAL, Lynden served as Chief Counsel of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), that agency’s highest ranking legal position. As Chief Counsel of USCIS, Lynden managed a legal program of approximately 130 attorneys and was a key advisor to senior leadership within USCIS, DHS, the White House, and other federal agencies on all aspects of immigration law.
Before joining BAL, Jeff served as Chief of the Legal Advisory Opinion section of the Visa Office in the U.S. Department of State.
