Pathways to Australian Permanent Residency
Tuesday, 7 June  |  8:00 – 10:00 am (AEST)
BAL Sydney
Level 30
31 Market Street
Sydney, NSW 2000 Australia

Berry Appleman & Leiden is hosting a series of corporate immigration-focused workshops in its Sydney office throughout 2016. Our workshops provide a platform for those professionals who already have experience in Australian employer-sponsored visas, and who wish to learn advanced skills to apply to their mobility programs.

Book now to attend BAL’s third workshop: Pathways to Australian Permanent Residency.

We will workshop options for obtaining permanent residency for your foreign workforce, including a discussion on creative solutions for complex scenarios that often present to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.

This workshop will:

  • Discuss eligibility requirements associated with visa subclasses that fall within the popular Permanent Employer Sponsored Visa Program
  • Consider alternative Australian permanent residency options that may be available to your business’ skilled foreign national workforce
  • Advise on possible options for accompanying foreign national family members in cases where an employee already holds either Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency status
  • Discuss Resident Return Visa requirements for current or former Australian permanent residents or former Australian citizens, who desire to travel and return to Australia as permanent residents.

The presenters will analyse case studies and there will be time for group discussion and questions and answers.

This event is complimentary for HR professionals and in-house mobility teams who coordinate an Australian in-bound immigration program.
